What is hydraulic hose fittings?
Hydraulic pipe Tube Adapters: connect different hydraulic components (pumps, delivery lines, reversing valves, shut-off valves, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, and some auxiliary components, such as level gauges, thermometers, pressure gauges, etc.) to form A closed circuit hydraulic system. It is an accessory that serves as a connection.

What are the common mistakes in the use of hydraulic fittings?
1. Using thread sealant and PTFE Tape freely
Although this will not affect the fittings’ external sealing, the solid debris of the sealant is likely to cause damage to other equipment on the pipeline.
For example, the NPT thread used on the pressure vessel does not need to use thread sealant, but a lot of sealant is actually applied. If it is not cleaned up during the regular inspection, the debris can easily cut the soft seal at the valve seat. A similar possibility is the failure of the pressure reducing valve.
If sealant needs to be applied, sealant shall not be applied to the male thread end. Must be cleaned up after disassembly
2. Change the original sealing structure.
For example, a tube fitting dedicated to a pressure gauge, the gasket between the male and female heads is used for sealing, but sometimes a large amount of PTFE Tape is wrapped, making it difficult for the male head to touch the gasket.
This situation occurs mainly because of concerns about leakage.
3. Regardless of the sealing structure, it is OK if there is no leakage after installation.
For example, there should be a hydraulic adapter transition between the valve and the pipeline, but tap the thread directly on the pipe and fix it by wrapping the PTFE tape.
This approach does not consider a special sealing structure. Although it will not leak for a while, it is not standardized.
This situation is more common in non-VA guided installation systems.
