As reported by Construction Equipment Guide in their article “Bobcat Introduces E40 Compact Excavator,” Bobcat Company has recently expanded its compact excavator lineup with the introduction of the Bobcat E40. In an effort to closely align with the industry’s size class, Bobcat has also revised the model numbers for its 3-to-5-ton excavator lineup.

The E40 offers operators high performance, fast cycle times, and optimal maneuverability, coupled with practical features and competitive pricing. Noteworthy features include a minimal tail swing design with less than 2 inches of overhang and a standard long arm.

Bobcat highlights the E40’s lift capacity as one of the best in its class, delivering over-the-blade and over-the-side lift capacity typically associated with conventional tail swing models. The excavator boasts premium performance, simplified option packages for base-level pricing, and various features such as a powerful non-DPF, turbocharged Bobcat engine, dual-flange track roller system, and extensive attachment versatility.
